The competing celebrities vying for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy were Chandler Kinney, Joey Graziadei, Ilona Maher, Danny Amendola, and Stephen Nedoroscik.
The eagerly awaited season 33 finale of Dancing with the Stars has finally arrived!
On the November 26 broadcast, the remaining five couples took to the ballroom for one last time, competing for the ultimate prize—the coveted mirrorball trophy.
Following last week's suspenseful semifinals, which ended without any eliminations, all five pairs advanced to the finale. Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, and Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold delivered their final performances, culminating in one couple being crowned the season 33 champion.
The grand finale also welcomed back eliminated contestants from earlier in the season, including Anna Delvey, Jenn Tran, Brooks Nader, and more. Additionally, season 32 winner Xochitl Gomez returned to the stage, performing a stunning number to Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club" alongside her former pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
The Results Are In
After the final Freestyle routines, the show took an emotional turn as each contestant’s loved ones shared heartfelt video messages to cheer them on.
Hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough then revealed the final rankings. Danny and Witney placed fifth, followed by Stephen and Rylee in fourth, and Chandler and Brandon in third. This left Joey and Jenna and Ilona and Alan as the top two contenders for the coveted mirrorball trophy.
"After weeks of intense competition, it’s time for the final result," Julianne announced dramatically, as a drumroll built the tension. With the audience on the edge of their seats, Alfonso declared, “The winners and new champions of Dancing with the Stars are Joey and Jenna!”
As confetti rained down, Alfonso asked Joey how it felt to win the mirrorball trophy.
"It means everything," Joey said, overwhelmed with emotion. "This whole experience has been unbelievable. Honestly, from the very beginning—Ilona, you were incredible this season—I love you. To all the finalists, the judges, everyone, thank you for sticking with us. I gave it my all, I promise!"
